Rotaract Bike Hike

The Rotaract Bike Hike in March 2003 consisted of 13 Rotaractors from the Fremantle, Melville, South Perth, Subiaco, Thornlie, and Victoria Park clubs, plus a South Perth Rotarian, and 2 riders from the Blind Association (one sighted and one blind). The South Perth Rotaractors who participated were Gary Stevens, Catherine Whitelaw, and Liz Elliott.

Fifteen members of Rotaract - a youth group associated with Rotary - will take part in a 900km bike hike from Esperance to Belmont racecourse between March 12 and 19. The hike is being held to raise funds for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association of WA. The Rotary Club of South Perth will be taking part in the Rotaract Bike Hike, a fundraising project to raise funds to sponsor Guide Dogs for the Blind. It combines several clubs in District 946 (South of the river). The Hike begins at Esperance on the 12th March and ends at the Belmont Rotary Conference on March 19.
