Rotaract Club of South Perth News & Articles
South Perth is a very active Rotaract club. We use a variety of methods to keep everyone up to date with what is happening in our club, this web site being one of them.
Monthly Bulletin
Our club bulletin, "The Rumour Mill", is typically produced once a month.
This newsletter aims to keep club members, Rotarians, alumni, and anyone else who is interested updated with what has happened since our last Rotaract meeting, and what projects and events are coming up in the next few weeks.
If you would like to subscribe to our newsletter, please send an email to southperthfriends-subscribe@yahoogroups.com, or use the sign up box on the right to join our mailing list now!
South Perth Rotaract in the Press
A variety of media releases and articles about the Rotaract Club of South Perth have appeared in local and state newspapers, and in newsletters of organisations we have supported.
The Self-Sustainable Farms project we have helped fund for our sister club in Panama has received a lot of media interest, from our local community newspaper, and most recently on the Rotary International website. An article about it also appeared in the September 2006 issue of Rotary Down Under.
Another project we are actively involved in, Dial-A-Samta, was also highlighted on the Rotary International website, in December 2006, plus an article about it appeared in our local newspaper, the Southern Gazette, in 2003.
News in the Rotary Down Under Mazagazine
Our regional Rotary magazine, Rotary Down Under (RDU), has a quarterly spread "Rotaract in Action. This section of the magazine has articles on projects and activities run by Rotaractors from across Australia.
South Perth Rotaract was featured in the September 2008 Issue with a 1/2 page article on the succesful heat in July 2008 organised for Storm The Stage. The article is titled "South Perth youth "Storm the Stage""
Photos of South Perth Rotaract club members at a Rotary Institute and at a reception for then Rotary International President Bhichai Rattakul have also been printed in the RDU.
