South Perth Rotaract Club Donate Video Camera

The Rotaract Club of South Perth purchased a digital video camera for the Paraplegic Quadriplegic Association of WA as their major community service project in 2001/2002. They acknowledged this donation in the September 2002 issue of 'Voice', the official bulletin of the Paraplegic - Quadriplegic and Civilian Maimed and Limbless Associations of WA.

The Rotaract Club of South Perth represented by Amber Collins, Simone Collins and Damian Kane recently presented the Association with a digital video camera. The digital video camera has already become a valuable tool in staff training and safety education. Presenting the camera, Amber spoke of the work done by the members of her Rotaract Club and the pleasure the members derive from assisting in areas of recognised need. Executive Director, Nigel Glass, together with Shave Yensch, Executive Officer (Finance) and Loraine Scholten, Executive Officer (Services), thanked the Club for their generosity and assured the members that the camera will be put to good use in support of persons with a disability.
