Club Service

The Club Service Committee is primarily responsible for membership development - recruiting new young members, and keeping all the existing members happy.

This involves a combination of good publicity (including an identifiable club brand), ongoing recruiting, a variety of fun social events, and good, constant communication.

This committee is also responsible for organising the meeting venue, making sure guests are made welcome at the meetings, and that the meeting does not get off track.

Communication

Communication is vitally important to ensure the smooth running of the club, so the Club Service Committee contains a bulletin editor and webmaster, among other people.

Club bulletins, called The Rumour Mill, are produced twice a month to coincide with the club meetings. These newsletters are designed to keep all club members, Rotarians, and anyone interested in the Rotaract Club of South Perth up to date on what activities are coming up, what we have done, and any important information relating to the next meeting.

Club members are also subscribed to a variety of egroups, to allow everyone to share information quickly and easily. There is also an egroup open to the public to promote news and events of the Rotaract Club of South Perth.
