Who Are We?
The Rotaract Club of South Perth in District 9470, Western Australia, is made up enthusiastic volunteers who like to make a difference in their local and global community. We have been a strong force in the local community since our charter on 10 October 1973.
South Perth is one of the most active Rotaract clubs in Western Australia, and we are continually looking for more volunteers in the City of South Perth or neighbouring areas who would like to take part in our community service projects, leadership development activities, social events, and more!
Rotaract is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious international professional development and volunteer service organisation of students and young professionals aged between 18 and 30. Rotaract is part of the Rotary International family. The Rotaract Club of South Perth is sponsored by the Rotary Club of South Perth.
What Do We Do?
Volunteers in the Rotaract Club of South Perth:
- organise and participate in community service projects and other events
- enjoy social events and making new friends here and overseas
- participate in humanitarian aid projects
- organise seminars and guest speakers to aid their own professional development
- take on various levels of responsibility as part of their leadership development
- are given a variety of opportunities to hone their public speaking skills
... to name just a few things. Rotaract's motto is 'Fellowship through Service'.
What sets Rotaract apart from other community service organizations is our focus on leadership development. We want to help you learn the necessary skills to make the changes you want to see in the world.
